Why is it free?

MyCareerSpringboard is completely free for schools, colleges, academies, PRUs and any other educational institutions that wish to use it.

No, really! We’re not kidding.

We believe that careers information, advice and guidance should be available to anyone and everyone completely free of charge.

As I’m sure you’re aware, as of September 2012, schools are required to provide impartial and independent careers guidance for their students in accordance with statutory guidelines issued by the Department for Education (DfE).

MyCareerSpringboard will help you to satisfy your school’s new statutory duty without incurring any costs.

Why should you pay thousands of pounds a year, when you can inspire your students and educate them about their career options for free?

What’s the catch?

There is no catch. It’s just that simple.

We don’t just run this company and provide free careers guidance tools for young people because we’re really nice guys. I mean, we are really nice, but we’re not a team of wealthy philanthropists. We are a private, independent company and we do make money.

The thing is: we don’t actually need to generate revenue by charging schools for something that we believe should be free.

We make our money by helping major companies, such as PwC, JP Morgan, Google and Allen & Overy, promote their graduate schemes, internships, school leaver programmes and apprenticeships via our other websites: AllAboutCareers.com, AllAboutSchoolLeavers.co.uk and AllAboutLaw.co.uk

So, actually, in the words of Jessie J, “We don't need your money, money, money.”
