About Us

MyCareerSpringboard is the essential FREE careers guidance tool for school and college students.

Created by the team behind AllAboutCareers.com, AllAboutSchoolLeavers.co.uk and AllAboutLaw.co.uk, MyCareerSpringboard is designed to help teachers deliver careers guidance to their students in the most fun, simple and effective way possible.

As of September 2012, schools are required to provide impartial and independent careers guidance for their students in accordance with statutory guidelines issued by the Department for Education (DfE). MyCareerSpringboard will help you to satisfy your school’s new statutory duty without incurring any costs.

Yep, that’s right! MyCareerSpringboard is completely free for schools, colleges, academies, PRUs and any other educational institutions that wish to use it.

Our motivation

Each member of our team had the misfortune of using inadequate careers guidance tools when we were at school. Consequently, we decided to create a free careers guidance tool that would truly allow school students to understand the big picture and make well-informed decisions about their future.

For students…

We’ve created MyCareerSpringboard, an interactive career test and career exploration tool, which helps students develop an in-depth understanding of the careers which best match their personality, skills and interests.

Students will also be given full access to a personalised Noticeboard, a career planning tool which they can use throughout their entire journey from education to employment.

For teachers…

We’ve put together a series of lesson plans, industry guides and other resources that can be downloaded and used in the classroom. These will help you to deliver effective careers guidance sessions with the minimum amount of hassle.
